Samantha Gouveia, Founder
Samantha's lifelong dedication to movement and competitive performance began at an early age. Involved in multiple sports, Samantha's passion heavily resided with a ball at her feet. Reaching elite levels in women's soccer, Samantha found herself playing for MacEwan University. Over her distinguished five-year career, she captained her team to a historical U SPORTS national championship, a first for the institution. Drawing from this student-athlete experience, it was evident that the mind plays an indispensable role in consistently achieving peak performance.
Over the past several years, Samantha has immersed herself within the field of sport psychology personally, educationally, and professionally. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Distinction) at MacEwan University and a Master of Science in Sport and Performance Psychology (with Applied Practice; Distinction) at University of Western States. As a member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association and Association for Applied Sport Psychology, Samantha is currently working towards receiving her final professional credential. Thus far, she has provided mental performance training to individuals from over fifteen different sport and performance fields. Embracing a high level of personal connection and enthusiasm in her work, Samantha strives to cultivate rich relationships with every performer. Through every endeavor, she wants you to know that you are not alone. Whether the objective is conquering a new personal best or preparing for a world renown marathon, Samantha is ready to help you surpass limitations, overcome adversities, and realize true potential.
